I’ve always been shy of asking God for miracles. I’m not really sure why, but I think it’s my doubt that if they don’t happen, then I’d see my faith as weak. Or maybe I’d doubt God and see Him as weak. Maybe I just don’t have enough faith that He is able to fill a hopeless situation with Hope. Or maybe just maybe, my definition of a miracle is not God’s definition of a miracle. What I want may not be what He has in store.
In reality, miracles are a demonstration of God’s power. A renewal of fallen creation. A welcome surprise. A supernatural, unexplainable occurance. A restoration of faith and belief. Whether it’s the daisy that regenerates it’s beauty every year, the sun shining through the clouds, or a healed disease that man can not explain, every time God’s power is made known, a miracle is experienced.
Today, I pray that God shows you His glory through a miracle! Realizing that might not come in the way we expect to see it, but I pray for an overwhelming presence of God’s love and grace in your lives today. An experience of His power! A renewal of faith.
“Did I not tell you that you if you believed, you would see the glory of God?”
John 11:40
Good day readers! I’m trying something new on here! I try to post some encouragement on social media several times a week, but I’m aware many of you aren’t on social media. So I thought I’d start sharing them with you as well. They are shorter, less formal, but God puts it on my heart, so I know He intends for it to be shared. I still intend to share more formal, in depth devotions once a month though.
Feedback is important to me, so if you ever feel like it’s too much for your inbox, let me know! I will do my best to work around all of your preferences. You can contact me directly from my contact page, leave a message below, or email me at lifeinterceptedbygrace@gmail.com.
Thank you for being on this journey with me! Y’all have a fabulous day!
